He was ordained as an Elder in the United American Free Will Baptist Church on November 23, 2000. Throughout his 12 years in ministry, he has worked as a youth leader, youth Bible study teacher, Sunday School teacher, and associate minister. He is presently an associate minister at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ in Goldsboro, NC under the leadership of Bishop Alton A. Smith.

As a very young man, Elder Isler distinguished himself with an insatiable desire to pursue God’s purpose for his life.  His desire to promulgate the Gospel of Jesus Christ is without compromise. His preaching style is pungent, yet compassionate, penetrating the minds and hearts of his listeners. He is sensitive to the Holy Spirit and ministers with the Gifts of the Spirit to bless and edify the Body of Christ.
